What’s Happening at Harmony
Presentation by LICADD: Dangers of Vaping
March 2025
Harmony Heights was grateful to welcome Mary Elaine Gibbo, MSW, from @licadd for an informative presentation on the dangers of vaping and the importance of making healthy choices. Our students gained valuable insight into the physical and mental health impacts of vaping, along with strategies for making safe, informed decisions. Thank you to LICADD for empowering our students with knowledge and support!
“Hope in Harmony” Fundraiser
March 2025
The opening of our “Hope in Harmony: A Journey of Healing & Expression” art exhibition and fundraiser, hosted by our amazing friend Laura Escobar of Hive Market Oyster Bay, was a heartfelt celebration of creativity, healing, and community. We were blown away by the turnout—from students, families, staff, alumnae, and community members—and deeply moved by the stunning artwork and crafts created by our talented students, staff, and alumnae.
P.S. I Love You Day
February 2025
Harmony Heights is proud to take part in P.S. I Love You Day to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Our students created heartfelt messages, which our School Psychology intern, Kelly, turned into a beautiful bulletin board—the first in our newly restored building. As a therapeutic program supporting young people, this cause is close to our hearts, and we thank the DiPalma family and the P.S. I Love You Day team for their incredible work in breaking the stigma.
